Below are some common questions that we get asked
What Types of Training Do You Offer?
Our training options include 30-minute, 45-minute & 60-minute sessions from the following categories:
1. Solo Training: One-on-one training. Work directly with your coach. Follow an individualized training program based on your medical history, eating & exercise habits and goals
2. Partner Training: Workout together with a friend, spouse, family member, or partner.
3. Group Training: Train together with 3 – 7 people. These classes give you an opportunity to workout with other members of our community. Each class is personalized based on the members of the class and include exercises for all fitness levels. 60-minute group classes are scheduled on Tuesdays/Thursdays @ 6:30PM and on Saturdays @ 10:00AM.
4. Virtual Training: We offer virtual (video) training through Skype, Facetime & Zoom video calls. This has been a popular option during the COVID-19 pandemic for those at risk or who prefer to train remotely. Our trainers guide you through custom workouts designed around the equipment that you have access to (It’s ok if you don’t have any equipment!).
5. Hybrid Training: Our unique hybrid training model allows our coaches to work with you in-person (at our studio) and online (through Zoom). You will meet with your coach for in-person workouts at the studio & online workouts through Zoom. This option will provide you with the maximum level accountability and support throughout your transformation while giving you the convenience of training at our studio, from home, or while you are traveling.
What Equipment is Available at the Smithtown Training Studio?
Our Smithtown Training Studio is fully loaded with all of the equipment that you will need to reach your goals, including: dumbbells (5 – 90 lbs), kettlebells (9 – 63 lbs), a squat rack, two cable machines, TRX, bosu & stability balls, and much more. Our metabolic equipment includes: a rowing machine, airdnye, treadmill, recumbent bikes, an elliptical, krank and battle ropes.
How Long Will It Take To See Results?
Results can vary from person-to-person and are based on your current eating habits, fitness level, training frequency, medical history, and ability to follow your training plan. For healthy weight loss, you can expect to lose up to 1-2 pounds per week.
How Much Does It Cost?
Our goal is to make training affordable, enjoyable and accessible for everyone! Our prices vary based on session length and type. Solo Training starts at $43+/session and Group Training starts at $25+/class.
Is It Safe For Me To Start A Training Program If I Have Medical Limitations?
We require all clients to have medical clearance from their doctor before starting an training program. It is important for us to know if you have any restrictions or limitations that must be addressed when developing an exercise program for you. We want to make sure you remain safe throughout your transformation 🙂

At Transfitnation, our trainers specialize in human movement, corrective exercise, weight loss, and strength training and our clients range from 10-95+ years old. We have experience working with clients to overcome joint pain, poor eating and lifestyle habits, and lose weight without dieting. We also work with clients who want to build muscle, gain weight, tone-up, get stronger and increase their endurance.
